Established in 1946, Central Hardwoods is one of Dallas’ few resources of highly specialized lumber materials. We work closely with architects, builders, and cabinet shops to ensure they get the best material on the market so they can produce one-of-a-kind results.
Today, we’re one of the largest wholesale distributors of lumber and building materials in North Texas – expanding well past the original 25 species offered to over 70 including full selections of veneers, plywoods, and panel products like Homasote and Medex.
In 2009, Central Hardwoods was brought into the Millwork Solutions Family of Companies, a cumulative resource for architects and builders that provides materials for every facet of their architectural projects. Learn more about Millwork Solutions here.
Four years later, in 2013, Central Hardwoods moved from previous location of 41 years to a larger facility. Streamlining production, operating new equipment, and completely redesigning our way of treating inventory, our abilities to complete large and complex orders have never been stronger. This is further strengthened with more deliveries and faster turn-around times than any of our competitors.
