Character

Often called "White Pine" though botanically it belongs to the Yellow Pine group. Probably the most widely used wood for general woodworking. Large quantities used in cabinetry, millwork, sash, doors, and mouldings.

Color

White to pale yellow

Usage

Joinery such as doors, windows and skirtings, building construction, built-in furniture, boat building, pattern making, plywood.
